8 Months Old

Stella is 8 months old!

At 8 months old, Stella is crawling like a pro, pulling up on absolutely anything, and curious about everything.  When she sees something new, she takes time to investigate it.   She takes it in her chubby little hands and really tries to figure it out.  She has two bottom teeth, and two of her top teeth are just poking through the skin.  Her top two teeth are her fangs though, and her front top teeth have yet to come in (as of Aug 28th).  She had been sleeping great, until teething started.  Now, she goes to bed around 8:30-9:15 and wakes around 6ish.  She does wake up throughout the night occasionally to nurse.  She is beginning to eat baby foods three times a day.  She usually has fruit and veggies during the day and some meat in her food at night.  Her favorite foods so far are bananas and sweet potatoes.

Her personality is beginning to shine through! She loves her cousins, other kids, and being the center of attention.  She likes to laugh and watch people talk...which makes it awkward at our community group when we are having serious discussions.  She loves Elmo toys and does anything she can to get to our iPhones.  She definitely has a sense of humor.  She leans in with her mouth open when she is excited or when you ask for kisses.

We love you more than anything, Stella Beth!   We love seeing your little personality develop and we can't wait to see the person you will become!
