On the move

Stella is getting really good at feeding herself.  She is getting more and more table food. 

The playgroup that we sometimes go to went to an Apple Orchard in Roanoke, Texas.  We tagged along.  Stella loves apples, so I thought she may like it.

She had so much fun.  Anytime I start thinking she is too young to go plcaes like this, she proves me wrong. 

I came home from work and was eating an apple.  Stella crawled over to me, used my leg to stand up, and then let go.  She stood there for several seconds! She has not done this too many more times, but it was enough to scare me.  This baby girl is going to be walking!

9 Months Old

This girl is 9 Months Old!

Stella is such a little character now.  She laughs and squeals and loves to have attention on her!  We are getting into a great routine of sleeping and napping (after a rough month or two).  On a good day, Stella sleeps from 9pm to 6am, eats, then sleeps from 7-8 or so.  She takes another nap in the afternoon around 3pm.  She is still nursing, but we are transitioning her onto taking more bottles with some formula mixed in her milk.  She eats pretty much anyting...fish, beef, chicken, veggies, and fruit.  Her least favorite food is avocado.  She will probably change her mind when she is old enough to have Mexican food though.

Stella is on the move.  She is an expert crawler.  She loves to chase her cousins around and try to keep up.  She does not like to miss anything.  She also loves to crawl to Bristol.  She says "mama" and "dada".  We think she is also trying to say Bristol.  When she seems him or hears us say his name, sometimes she will say "it-tol".  Her favorite "toys" are not toys.  She loves to play with the dog bowls (see below), computer keyboards (and removing keys from her daddy's work computer, and kitchen utensils.  If we let her, she would also love electric cords and outlets.

She has four teeth, and her front teeth are just coming through the skin, too.  She is a slow teether.  We have been working on these teeth since early August!
