Busy busy girl!

We got Stella this toy.  She is able to pull up on it and walk around while pushing it.  It is a little scary!

I was sitting in the living room and Lola came and brought this to me.

I have had my eye on an Infantino baby food pouch maker for a long time.  One of our neighbors was selling one, so I bought it.  I made Stella Salmon and Pumpkin with Carrotts and Beef Stew with Potatoes and Parsnips.  The process of putting it in the pouch with the little gadget with a little messy.  Luckily, I made enough to last us a while!

Happy Birthday, Quinn!

We went to celebrate Quinn's birthday with our good friends, Brandon and Lauren.  Quinn turned 2 and they had her party at the carousel at the mall.  Stella LOVED riding the carousel.  We may be going to the mall more frequently now!

That night, Garrett and Gus stayed with us.  We cooked out and enjoyed the cool weather.  We had so much fun with them.  It has been a long time since we have had both of them overnight.

Gus "read" Stella this whole book.  He said, "See, Lala?  Dat Minnie Mouse!"

All of the activity exhausted Lola.

When Gus gets here, he goes straight to Stella's room to get this lamb.

We had fun! I love seeing how much Gus, Garrett, and Stella interact and love eachother!

Lola's Visit

I got special "gentle" baby nail polish and painted Stella's toes.  She was not very patient and still while I was doing it.  I may have to leave it to the professionals next time! Luckily, it washes very easily and came off (mostly) within a few days.

No one can use an iPad in our house without Stella spotting us.  She crawls over and tries to steal it.

My happy baby!

Stella is finally getting better at feeding herself.  Her favorite foods to eat this way are eggs and I make a tiny fruit salad with kiwis and bananas.  She loves it!

Some action shots of Stella getting into whatever she can find!  She is busy.

Annette and Marcus went to Pennsylvania for a few days to visit my grandmother.  While they were gone, they entrusted their furbaby to us!  Stella loves Lola. We love Lola.  Bristol... Well, Bristol is not much of a fan of puppies or large dogs.  He tolerated her well though!

Lola was great with Stella.  Lola tried to play with her, but she was a little too big for Stella.

We finally have cool weather! We enjoyed it and let Stella cruise around on her wheels.

We went for lots of walks.  One day, it rained all day long.  We went to Debi's house for a craft day.  Stella ended up painting her face.

Stella loves to watch the boys play.  She is content doing whatever they are doing...even sitting in a card board box!

Lola likes to drink Stella's bathwater.

We had fun keeping her.  By the end of the week, Lola and Bristol worked through alot of their (Bristol's) issues.. maybe holidays won't be total chaos now, right?

Big Helper

Stella is pretty proud of herself when she can copy something.  As I was folding laundry, she was grabbing clothes and looking at me.

The jury is out on who this toy belonged to..me or Annette.  My mom says it was mine, so we will go with that.  Either way, this glow worm is old and a new favorite of Stella's!

Playing in the morning with Bristol.

Daddy is away

Jarrett went to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota on a ca mping trip, so it was just Stella and me for a few days.  Besides the lack of sleep, things went well.  We went to church and hung out aroudn the house.

Stella played with this kitchen wisk all day long.  It is her new favorite toy.

September 11th was our first day of Bible Study Fellowship.  Stella did great in the nursery.  Her teachers said she was the "life of the party" and "entertained all the other babies."  I believe it!

My mom and dad are on vacation, so Daisy stayed with us for a week.  Daisy was my shadow and got to be pretty curious about Stella, too.

Stella also got her first taste of formula.  We mixed in a couple of ounces with breastmilk in hopes of a better night's sleep.  (Please excuse mommy's "formula" that helps her sleep in the background.)
