Mutton Buster!

Garrett was invited back to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo to compete in Mutton Bustin.

As always, I was worried Stella would be a handful in the crowded stands.  She loved it (for a while).  She watched the opening show and pointed at all of the animals.

After some sitting, it was time to run.

Garrett is one tough 5 year old! He definitely improved his time from last year.  We are so proud of our cousin!!

Enjoying 2014

As Jarrett and I train for a half marathon in March, Stella is a trooper in the stroller!

Chicken Noodle Soup and Pears are a new favorite.

Celebrating Lola's first birthday.

Enjoying Christmas gifts

We are working towards weaning Stella off her bottle.  We have not had much luck giving her milk.  She has shown to have a dairy intolerance and milk has aggrevated it.  For now, we are sticking to formula and Lactaid.  She takes a bottle at nighttime.

One Year Shots!

It is time for Stella's one year check up!
Weight: 24 pounds 2 ounces
Height: 30.5 inches
Head Circumference: 46.5 sm

At 12 months old, Stella is beginning to sign and talk.  She says the words mama, dada, Bristol, more, baby, puppy, and bath.  She loves to take baths and give Bristol hugs.  She is walking and running. Her Granny and Nana have worked hard, but so far, she only said "Baba" when we try to get her to repeat the names.  Her favorite foods are bananas and applesauce.  Each morning, she eats an egg, oatmeal, and fruit.  Breakfast is her favorite meal!  She still takes a bottle at night before bed.  She sleeps most nights from 8:30-6:30.  She takes a shorter nap in the morning, for around 45 minutes.  She takes a longer two hour nap in the afternoon.

Our little Snowflake is ONE!

Stella'a first birthday party was a hit.  We had 23 of our friends join us to celebrate Stella's first year.  For her party, we had pulled pork sandwhiches, macaroni salad, beans, and mac-n-cheese.  I also had a table of wintery snacks, hot cocoa, and apple cider.  We also enjoyed cake and ice cream (of course!)

This is a photo from Jarrett's first birthday party.

The weather was beautiful! It was sunny and in the high 60s. The littles enjoyed the bounce house.

Stella loved having her buds in her playroom.  Quinn and Nora go to church with us.

This girl loves a party!

We are so blessed and excited to have so many great friends around us.  We had a great turn out to the party and are so incredibly grateful to everyone who was able to come.
