Family Time

We woke up on Friday, December 6th to 2 inches of ice on our ground.  We were stuck inside.  Our busy weekend itinerary was canceled and we were forced to spend 3 days in the house.
Since I am writing this post in January, I look back and I am so thankful for those days.  We had no idea that we were one week away from our world being turned upside down with the death of Jarrett's dad.  I am so thankful God gave us those days to spend as a famliy and enjoy our short Christmas season.

Drinking hot apple cider!

By Saturday night, we were stir crazy.  We braved the ice in JArrett's truck and went to Texas Roadhouse to eat.

During the day, we took Stella out to see the snice (snow+ice) for the first time.  Surprisingly, she didn't want to go inside! She stuck her face in it and laughed.

Bristol, on the other hand, couldn't get inside fast enough.

Stella was playing with her doll and there was a bottle sitting out.  I walked away and came back to find her pouring her formula out onto her baby.

She loves this cabinet.

She crawls underneath things and then gets upset and frustrated when she can't get out.

Finally, we put up the "Hopper Family Christmas Tree" and watched Christmas movies.  What a great way to spend a few days.
