The Duncans!!

In November, a couple of big things happened!  First, Jarret and I were both led back to leading Vertical (5th and 6th grade nministry) at our church.  We were not sure how Stella would handle it, but we were sure that is where we needed to be.  Well, Stella loves it.  She cruises around in her walker and goes non-stop.  She loves the kids there and is a social butterfly,
On November 8th, I attended a conference for the curriculum we are using at TCAL.  The conference's theme was "TIME".  This jar has 936 marbles in it.  That is how many weekends you have with your child from birth to 18 years old.  That is it! 936.

When I got home from the conference, our dear friends Chris and Olivia Duncan were in town to spend the weekend with us.  We had such a blast with them.  Ella is 2 1/2 and Asher is just two days younger than Stella.  The kids had a blast together.
Stella and Ashler, 10 months old.

The next day, we got up and went to the Arboretum.  The weather was perfect.  We also met up with the Deedons who just moved to Texas from Minnesota.  We had a picnic on the lawn with sandwhiches from Jimmy's Italian Market.

our favorite part of the whole place! The water area in the Childrem's garden.

Stella waved "bye-bye" for the first time when we said "bye-bye water" when it was time to leave.

PJ Playtime!

We bought this extra carseat and had it sitting in the dining room.  Stella climbed up onto it every chance she had.

We are so thankful to have friends like Chris and Oliva.  Even though we live far away, we have been able to see each other a few times a year.  We pick right up where we left off and have a great time with them.
