We had a packed summer full of lots of travel.
Our flight to PA went as well as it could have with an 18 month old that loves to move. We used a CARES harness and were lucky enough to have an extra seat most of the time. That was a HUGE help. ( We were not so lucky on the way home). Stella stayed busy with her toys and snacks and we made it to PA without too much trouble.
Beautiful Logan Falls Hike
Debi and Zane rented a motorhome-- we got to travel in style with Gram. Great times!
Swedish Festival 2015!
Swedish Festival fireworks are some of the best anywhere.. Stella slept through some of them but woke up towards the end.
The next day, Stella and I had all afternoon to spend with Gramma Housler. We sat and talked and talked. Some things she told me...
She fed her boys formula and had healthy pregnancies.
For their honeymoon, her and my grandfather took a bus to Pittsburgh for the night.
Of her 9 decades, her favorite times were right after they got married and the kids were young.
Great reminder to slow down and enjoy the days.. even the long ones.
This summed up our flight home.. rain..delays..we checked the stroller thinking we didn't need it... we lost the iPad... we were delayed some more... tears were shed.. but we arrived home safe!
